Meet Jennifer StanleyDr Stanley

Jennifer Stanley is a graduate of Midwest University of Naturopathic Medicine and is a certified Traditional Naturopath through the American Naturopathic Certification Board. She is also a certified colon hydrotherapist through the National Board of Colon Hydrotherapy (NBCHT) and a member of I-ACT, the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy.

Prior to natural medicine, Jennifer Stanley had been a professional chef for 10 years when she received the Aspiring Chef Scholarship from the Charlie Trotter Foundation. She moved back to Chicago to complete a degree from the French Pastry School when she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

“ I came to natural medicine as so many of my clients do, out of desperation. After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia and given a life sentence of one medication after another, I sought out naturopathic advice. Within 9 months of strict dietary changes, detoxification, and bodywork, all of my fibromyalgic symptoms were in remission. I was stunned that having been a professional chef for 10 years I had never realized that what I put in my mouth everyday either added to my life or was taking away from it. “

Jennifer Stanley incorporates her culinary background into her naturopathic practice by offering nutritional coaching sessions, customized juice fast protocols, menu planning assistance, and at-home cooking classes. All services are intended to educate and empower clients in making the dietary changes necessary to improve their health.
