Holistic Wellness & Nutrition In Saint Charles

Naturopathic Nutrition Consultation

In your first session, we'll thoroughly review your typical daily diet and a detailed health history.

We'll also perform iridology analysis, which consists of analyzing a photo of your eye and charting the reflected health of the various organs and systems of your body. This process offers you a better understanding of the interconnectedness between organs and overall health.

Iridology helps us understand the root cause of disease processes so we can effectively change our diet and lifestyle to obtain greater physical, mental and emotional balance.

We'll then perform a bodywork analysis.

Based on our discoveries and insights, we'll design a three-month nutrition and herbal protocol which will start the cleansing, stabilizing, and rebuilding process for your body. The protocol will be specialized to address your major health concerns.

Depending upon your situation and goals, in addition to your nutrition and herbal support plan, we may also recommend complementary bodywork or additional therapies such as colon hydrotherapy, manual lymphatic drainage, visceral manipulation, IV therapy, acupuncture, or Thai massage. Keep in mind we will always work at a pace that is comfortable for you.

“Dr. Jen, Earlier this year you prescribed a protocol for someone with HPV. If you remember, HPV was positive in my annual pap exams for over 10 years. While I was skeptical, I followed your advice.....Well, I just completed my annual exam and I am happy to tell you that HPV was negative. WOW - I can only attribute it to your help and assistance. So thank you - this is amazing and I am so relieved to not need another biopsy procedure.”

Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine

Acupuncture is a natural, safe, and effective treatment method based on a system that works with the natural regenerative abilities of the body.

Acupuncture is the Chinese medical technique of applying ultra-thin needles, or filaments, to specific points or acu-points on the body related to energy pathways or meridians that run throughout the body to activate the body’s energy known as “Qi''.

Hair-thin filaments are placed into specific points along the meridians, each with their own unique function. There is an abundance of connections between blood vessels, nerve bundles, and lymph tissue where these points are located.

The acu-points function to restore balance to the body’s energy, and strengthen the body’s natural abilities to heal.

Acupuncture has been cited by the Acupuncture Evidence Project supported by the World Health Organization as effectively treating 117 conditions. Based on the client’s needs, an acupuncture session may also incorporate therapies such as Tui Na massage, Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion and Nutritional therapy.

"I have been working with Genevieve for just over 2 years. I started treatments for hormone imbalance and migraines. Since working with Genevieve, my hormones and menstrual cycles have improved tremendously, and my migraines have disappeared. It is not just the physical improvements; Genevieve is a true healer and focuses on your entire self. She has helped me heal from deep trauma I held in my body. She listens and genuinely cares. I am so grateful our paths crossed, and I consider her a healer and my dear friend."
