Bodywork Therapies Menu

  • Our initial consultations begin with walking you through the whole procedure. We explain the filtration system, the mechanics of the session, and answer any questions you may have with regards to what to expect during and after the session.

Once the session begins, we apply a warm castor oil pack on your abdomen, cover you in a warm blanket and heating pad. During the session, we perform reflexology on your feet and gently massage your abdomen to your comfort level.

The gentle inflow of filtered water is always to your comfort level and the release of waste is controlled by your body's own peristaltic movement. The rest of the session is a repetition of introducing warm filtered water into your large intestine and your body releasing diluted waste. We work within your comfort level and aim to make each session as comfortable as possible.

Our colon hydrotherapists are certified through the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapists (I-ACT). Our colonic machines are FDA certified AquaNet closed system units offering both gravitational and gently pressurized colonic sessions. For your safety, we use disposable, one time use speculum kits. Because we specialize in first time clients, the initial appointment is 1 1/2 hours. All follow-up sessions will be 1 hour.

If you have any of the following contraindications you are required to have a doctor’s referral saying that you are healthy enough to receive colon hydrotherapy. Please obtain the doctor’s note before scheduling your colon hydrotherapy session. Please call our office if you have any questions.

  • Manual lymphatic drainage is a specific form of bodywork in which we increase circulation to the main lymphatic drains of the body which send the excess fluid to the kidneys to be urinated out.

This bodywork is helpful in reducing fluid retention which may contribute to edema, carpal tunnel, fibrocystic breasts and mastitis, ear/nose/ throat congestion, cellulite, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), leg cramps and quickens recovery time after a physical injury. It also improves recovery time from breast augmentation and lipotransfer procedures. Our sessions use massage oils infused with grapefruit, geranium, bay laurel, or any other herb specific for stimulating lymphatic release.

  • Visceral Manipulation/Myofascial Release (VM) addresses pain, dysfunction, and poor posture which may result from structural and functional imbalances. Imbalances can result from surgical scars, sports injuries, car accidents, endometriosis, stress, bacterial infections, or poor posture and creates fixed, abnormal points of tension that the body must move around. Symptoms such as chronic bloating and constipation, pain, limited range of motion, fluid retention, and muscle tightness can all be a result of fascial restrictions.

By increasing proprioceptive communication through a gentle, steady touch VM is helpful in restoring musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive and lymphatic health.

  • Craniosacral Therapy (CST) uses a soft touch to release restrictions along the spine and head that improves the flow of the cerebral spinal fluid. This release allows for better flow of nutrition and communication along the entire nervous system. Very effective if you carry a lot of tension in your face, jaw, head, neck, shoulders, back, hips and feet.

CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including: learning disabilities, chronic fatigue, emotional difficulties, stress and tension, fibromyalgia and other connective-tissue disorders, TMJ, neurovascular or immune disorders, PTSD, post-surgical dysfunction, migraine headaches, chronic neck and back pain, motor-coordination impairments, central nervous system disorders, orthopedic problems, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, scoliosis

  • Relax your body and ease your mind with a restorative massage inspired by techniques from Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, stretching, energy work, meditation, breathwork, and sound therapy. By using these various techniques to calm the nervous system, relaxation in the mind and body naturally follows. This unique style of massage was created for those looking for a relaxing, yet therapeutic experience. It is especially beneficial for easing anxiety and increasing the connection between mind and body. This massage can be tailored to any pressure preference.

  • Thai Massage works along energy pathways using compressions, stretches, and movements to facilitate energy flow throughout the body. This treatment is performed on a mat on the floor while the client is fully clothed. It is most beneficial for the client to be completely relaxed as the therapist moves through the sequence. This invigorating, yet relaxing treatment is great for anyone looking to add more movement into their routine. The session will begin with a guided meditation to lead awareness into the body. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and try to refrain from eating at least 90 minutes before treatment.

  • Raindrop Therapy is the perfect treatment if you start feeling under the weather.

We use a series of essential oils chosen specifically for their anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and antimicrobial properties These oils are applied along the spine. Heat is added over the oils to improve absorption and penetration of the oils into the back. These oils are also placed on the feet where the pores being some of the largest on the body will increase absorption of the essential oils and their healing qualities. An herbal inhalant is incorporated as well.

Great for boosting your immune health, beneficial with respiratory congestion, bronchitis, and ear/nose/throat congestion.

We recommend you follow this treatment with a 20 minute Epsom salts bath to reactivate the oils when you get home.

  • After applying a carrier oil we glide massage cups over the body to identify areas of muscle tension.

The massage cups create a suction action which acts to draw stagnant fluid or lactic acid out of the muscle tissue and into the lymphatic system to be flushed out of the body. In areas of greater muscle tension we “park” a cup for greater release to chronic muscle tightness and pain.

  • Zero Balancing uses finger pressure and gentle traction on areas of tension in the bones, joints and soft tissue to create fulcrums, or points of balance, around which the body can relax and reorganize.

By addressing the deepest and densest tissues of the body along with soft tissue and energy fields, Zero Balancing helps to clear chronic tension and blocks in the body’s energy flow. Shown to reduce stress, amplify vitality and promote better postural alignment can help relieve body aches and pain, release restrictions in movement, and provide lasting relief from emotional distress to improve overall quality of life.

Zero Balancing can also be helpful with specific goals such as relief from back pain, improving concentration or sleep, releasing unwanted stress, eliminating old behavior patterns, or boosting well-being. A session typically lasts 30 to 45 minutes and is offered through clothing.

  • Reiki is a gentle yet empowering method of energy medicine. Reiki holds the space for reconnecting with universal vital force to rebalance, rejuvenate and ground personal energy. Helpful in times of stress, sickness, conflict, and/or chaos when your energy levels may become depleted and unbalanced.

  • A Far Infrared Sauna transforms light energy into heat energy which helps the body get rid of toxins and metabolic waste through sweating.

Recent research suggests that spending 15 minutes in a Far Infrared Sauna is as good or better than a 45 minute cardiovascular workout, in terms of burning calories.

Our far infrared sauna sessions last 30 minutes.

  • The pores of our hands and feet are the largest on our body which makes them ideal for assisting in our detoxification efforts. We use saline water to increase the conductivity of the ionic charger which sends negatively charged ions into the pores of our hands and feet. These ions bind to heavy metals, yeast (Candida albicans), joint inflammation, parasites, lymphatic congestion, and environmental pollutants drawing them out of the body and into the saline water.

The water will change color based on what organ or system of the body is detoxifying at that time. This treatment is helpful in reducing all states of inflammation as well as assisting all detoxification efforts.

  • Your skin is the largest organ of your body, and it is important to keep it in good condition. An effective skin care routine can help prevent acne, treat wrinkles and help keep your skin looking radiant.

Hydrafacials are performed with a medical-grade hydra dermabrasion device carrying out a three-part regimen of cleansing, exfoliating, and infusing skin with intensive serums. Results are immediately apparent in moisturizing, brightening, plumping and protecting the skin. Its radiance-imparting properties help you look your best for big events and weddings.

Geneo Facial induces a surge of oxygen to the skin which creates ideal conditions to nourish and transform the skin from the inside out. We oxygenate and exfoliate using Geneo oxypods reacting with a primer gel. We apply ultrasound waves which smooth the skin and increase the permeability of the skin’s protective layer, enabling better nutrient absorption. An additional add-on of radio frequency toning technology is available which enhances and tones face and neck leaving clients with a youthful and radiant glow.
