Genevieve Belt | Sacred Earth Acupuncture & Holistic Healing
Genevieve Belt, L.Ac., MSAc is an NCCAOM board certified and Illinois state licensed acupuncturist. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Chicago as well as a Master’s of Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Genevieve’s five year Master’s and Doctoral programs include education in acupuncture, Eastern medicine, Ayurveda, nutrition, Chinese herbal medicine and Western biomedicine. She has over 3000 hours of education and clinical rotations as well as several years of hands-on professional experience.
Genevieve is a Registered Yoga Teacher with over a decade of experience in treating patients through movement and with Ayurvedic inspired principles of healing. Genevieve has been published in the Journal of Active Aging for her research in function movement among our aging population. Genevieve values an integrative approach and uses her knowledge in functional medicine, nutrition, biomedicine and spiritual healing to provide comprehensive care.
What you can expect in a session:
A Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture service begins with a discussion regarding your health concerns and health history. Genevieve will then create a treatment plan that will best fit your individuals needs. A treatment typically consists of acupuncture as well as cupping therapy, moxabustion, gua sha, crystal therapy, aromatherapy, herbal therapy and nutritional therapy.
